Okay, so I'm not sure whether the gasket these replaced was OEM or not but whatever the old gasket was, this is much better IMO. With this new gasket, the bolts on the intake tightened down to spec no problem and the 'Stang's V8 engines stuttering at low idle problem (RPM dropping up and down) is much less than before, indicating that the old gasket (which I tried to reuse, silly me) was not holding its seal well at all.As an FYI, I was able to isolate this problem to the AIC valve by squeezing the air hose that feeds air into the valve while the engine was idling. If I squeezed the rubber hose half way closed the engine stutter (RPM drop) would go away and the engine would idle correctly, indicating that my air leak was at the AIC valve somewhere. The problem was worse after the engine was fully heated up indicating it was an expansion problem somewhere in the AIC system. Originally, my problem was that the AIC valve itself was off and so my engine would never idle at below around 700-800, even when warm. Cleaning the AIC valve and re-using the old gasket got me to 600-650 cold idle but when the engine got hot the idle would stutter, particularly if the electrical system was adding a lot of load (eg A/C on, 460 watt stereo booming, fog lights on, that sort of thing). With this new gasket, looks like I've got the system pretty much cleaned up and now, after several weeks, I'm not seeing much variation on warm idle at all, even under significant electrical draw.

They are marked Interface solutions, two come in the package and seem to be a good quality item, but just the standard replacement. For the money, a good replacement..
