For the brief time I could use it, it seemed to work well deflecting debris while using the rotary tool. I say brief because the rotary tool itself became un-usable after a time.If you don't want dust, wood splinters, metal grindings flying up at you while using tool, get this to save that from happening.

If you love your eyes, get this. You should also wear protective eye wear. It does one thing and that's preventing, to a certain extent, having stuff fly off in your face.Screw it on. There. Done.

This is well made and works well. You do not, repeat NOT want to use a cutting wheel with a Dremel without something like this between you and flying debris. Splinters in the eye are a hard thing to live with. So buy this and make sure you don't peek around it whilst cutting.
