Item: DTGN Socket Head Cap Screws(M5-0.8x45mm) 25PcsThis is a grade 12.9 carbon steel M5 bolt with a black oxide coating that is 45mm in length. Socket head bolt length specifications do NOT include the socket head. Total length is 50mm. As is typical of metric bolts longer than 25mm, only the first 25mm is threaded.The socket head is knurled for added friction and fits a 4mm hex wrench (allen key / hex key). The oxide coating is consistent and the threads are fully formed and debris free.

I needed a longer M8 screw for a cat scratcher. I thought I had ordered 750mm, but mistakenly got 1000mm. It’s a bit long for this.The coat is fragile and scratches easily.Durability to be determined.

The bolts are marked 12.9 on the heads.They are well made, and fit the thread properly.My only gripe is that the black oxide finish is a bit thin, the non-threaded part of the bolts looks grey, rather than black.
