The belt itself is great, but the plastic buckle, not so much..The belt fits well and handles a bunch of tools, pouches, etc, very well..The plastic buckle on the other hand is rather flimsy..The belt itself is worth it, but I also ordered a steel quick release buckle to go with it..

Picked this up for a utility belt to use in the woods,put a few pouches on it,carry my machete et cetera,works great and overall the plastic buckle seems sturdy,also nice they give you an extra.It works well in conjunction with the under belt,use that as your pants belt and put the larger over it and it doesn't slide down when you have gear attached to it.For the money a good choice for an outdoor/camping belt.

When I first purchased this item, I was buying what I saw. The outer belt appears pretty decent for my first responders calls. I've somehow lost my inner belt, at which I've tried to purchase this set again, only to receive the inner belt with just a velcro belt and no d-ring attachment at the end. I returned my item and purchased again to see if I'll get what is advertised, only it's the same, just the velcro belt with no d-ring on it - sigh.... I give a two star because the items appear decent, but not what I wanted!
