Bought this for a short-scale, open-back tenor banjo and it's perfect for that. Seems very sturdy and collapses to a very small size.

Très bonne qualité, arrivé rapidement. Sans instruction de montage, j'ai regardé la photo sur le site pour me situer. L'ouverture du support ne se bloque pas donc quand on le déplace, il se referme. Quand même très heureuse de mon achat. Très solide.

This would be a great violin stand if the legs could lock in place. As it is, they move so freely that if you slightly bump/move the stand, the legs collapse back into the closed position and the violin and stand fall over. Returned for a refund.

Great stand, great price, well made. Nice to have one devoted to the violin with a special arm just for the bow. Folds down easily and quite compactly for travelling, which is very much appreciated. The stand is being used both at home and on the stage regularly, so it's definitely versatile. I just wish it had a clip or something for the legs to prevent it from possibly folding in on itself when bumped, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. However, so far the stand has proved quite stable. Still, a clip would be nice for peace of mind, at least.

This is a well designed high quality sturdy violin stand with a place to put your bow. It is a bit heavy, but folds up surprisingly small for its size. The place to put your bow *alone* makes marking up music as you go much easier.Note it is very stable—for a violin stand—but has inherently a high center of gravity and a narrow base. It won’t fall over easily but kicking it over by accident, while harder than a with a lightweight stand, would still be quite possible. Use reasonable care.

Amazing!. It's very sturdy and not flimsy at all. I can tell it was going to be good quality because it's heavy enough to hold a violin. I had my violin leaning forward on stand before today because i wasnt aware that i can push stand backwards so now my violin wont fall before using the clip to hold violin (my violin never fell because i was holding it before using the clip). the stand still worked good when it was leaning forward but i want stand to look like the pictures. i have the violin stand on my clothes drawer instead of the floor because i dont want it to get dirty.
