In the box: black and white saddle shoes in an actual Eastland brand shoebox larger than average, so that the pristine new shoes aren't squishedOut of the box: the shoes looked a bit stiff and unyielding, but lo and behold! --- when I put them on, they felt comfy right away, and they have a great grippy sole --- never once have I been heard cursing about "these awful new shoes"Star quality: 5 stars for quality and comfort --- the retro appeal is also a big plus --- love the crisp white toes poking out from under my black jeans --- and let's support family businesses like Eastland Shoes in Maine!

So gorgeous; sadly the size 8 is just too Narrow for me. I did not want to return them, so I ordered shoes stretchers, and stretcher spray. These are well-made and beautiful shoes, so I am prepared to do all I can to keep them.

I am really impressed by the quality of these shoes, down to having inserts with arch support. I wore these to work the day after I bought them and got so many compliments! These are comfortable and feel durable, the kind of shoes you can wear everyday for years.

These shoes are a winner! No breaking in required. I have wide feet with bunions and these shoes are amazingly comfortable. Attractive and well made with high quality materials. The inside is buttery soft which is great for bare feet. The insole is nicely padded but I did add a small metatarsal pad to accommodate my flat feet. I haven't ever had shoes feel so comfortable right out of the box before. What a treat ;-)

I really love saddle shoes and have been dreaming to own one for a long time. When I saw these finally available on amazon.com thru amazon.de I have ordered them but came US 10 instead of US 9 for the second time. Shoes are lovely and veri comfy however cant believe amazon.de did the same mistake again. Since there is no change option for international orders I have to return them and wait for the refund one more time.

These shoes fit so well! I usually wear a size 9 and that is what I got. I do find my left foot that is slightly bigger a smig snug but I know they will stretch out once broken in.They are very comfortable and the insoles feel so nice.I am very happy with my purchase and I highly reccomend these! They are narrow so if you have a wider foot I dont know how they will fit.

Well constructed, leather shoes. Very comfortable but are just a little short--order 1/2 size larger if you are wearing thicker socks. (I ordered an 8.5 which usually gives me plenty of toe room---my foot goes right to the end of the shoe in these!)I do love the way that they are cut down around the ankle which certainly adds to the comfort--no rubbing on those ankle bones!In all....a good buy! I do love them.

Oh How Comfortaable.!i have ordered me another pair.Shoes are worth much more thab $83.00A wonderful fit at size 9.5Cleaning is easy with Kiwi Stain Erasers..I got some nail polish on the white part and those stain erasers made removal simple.My 2nd pair arrived yesterday...and I am very pleased.They look so smart + stylish with Blue Jeans which I wear a lot.Feminine looking even though they are Oxford Flats..I guess the slightly pointed toe has something to do with it.The longer we wear them, the better they seem to look...being real leather.I love that they are so Retro!People in their 70's always glance at them when I am on the train.I am holding back from ordering pair #3 at least fora while.Highly recommended by me. I wore these shoes to the Lindy Bout competition in swing, lindy hop, balboa, jazz, and blues dancing. They passed the test! I was worried at first because the sole is quite heavy but they are very high quality and comfortable, with a supportive foam interior. The rubber soles provide too much grip on most natural wood floors so I used painter's tape (masking tape would work too) to cover the balls of my feet for swivels. You could probably have suede soles put on if you prefer. The style was crisp and I got many compliments from other dancers.

I just love these shoes! The quality is 100% and they are slightly on the generous side which for me is great as I have really struggled finding shoes that fit my big feet for my 'newly taking up' swing dancing! I cannot tell you how lovely & comfortable these shoes are and I think they also make my feel look slightly smaller!! :)I would also wear them for normal day wear with a pair of skinny levis jeans!I was also surprised and how quickly they arrived and I think for the price are excellent value for money!
