These traps do catch fruit flies from my indoor plants. I started to use them a few days ago and there are quite a lot of flies trapped. I will need to replace new ones in these couple of days as the traps are almost full of flies. I am very happy to see the result and hope these traps solve the fly problem at my home. I used to have flies all around the whole house and even in the basement, although there is no plant there.

I recently tried the EcoCanucks Sticky Traps, and while they are effective, the limited quantity in each pack makes them a more expensive option compared to other brands. With only 20 traps in the pack, I found myself running out quickly as I used almost 4-5 at one time in indoor and outdoor, especially when compared to other products that offer significantly more traps at a lower price point (see my other review for a similar product that offers 50 counts at lesser price and works amazingly).Effectiveness:The EcoCanucks Sticky Traps do perform well in catching fruit flies, gnats, mosquitoes, and other small flying insects. The yellow color is attractive to the bugs, and the adhesive is strong enough to hold them in place effectively. In terms of pure performance, these traps do their job and help reduce the insect population around plants or in other problem areas.Cost and Quantity:Where this product falls short is in the quantity offered. With just 20 traps per pack, you’re paying more for each trap compared to other brands that provide more traps at a similar or even lower cost. If you’re dealing with a significant insect problem, you might find yourself needing to purchase multiple packs, which can add up quickly.Ease of Use:The traps are easy to handle and set up, with a straightforward peel-and-stick design. They are disposable, making cleanup simple, but given the smaller number of traps, you might find yourself needing to replace them more frequently. Conclusion:While the EcoCanucks Sticky Traps are effective in catching insects, the limited quantity per pack makes them a more expensive choice. If you’re looking for a cost-effective solution and need a large number of traps, you might want to consider other brands that offer more traps at a lower cost. However, if you value performance and don’t mind paying a bit extra for it, these traps are a reliable option.

Had what felt like a fruit fly infestation, so searched the internet for solutions. I found this to be the most effective.I put these around where I noticed the fruit flies would go (fruits, compost bin, etc.), as well as over top cups of apple cider vinegar, and within a couple hours, you can see the fruit flies accumulating on the traps. I would change the traps at least once a day. After a couple of days, almost all of the flies were gone.Great item. Strongly recommend.

This works by attracting fruit flies and other small bugs to it. When they land on it they stick to it and they die. My long-haired rag-doll cat investigated one that I had set up around my apartment and it stuck to her chest. it took about 10 minutes to carefully pull it off her without it hurting her and it pulled out a fist-full of her hair with it. If it had stuck to her whiskers or tongue I would have had to take her to the vet. This product should come with a warning to pet owners to ensure it is placed somewhere where pets can't get to it. I found that it does work, not with cider vinegar which is recommended but by placing it in a small glass at the bottom of which is some rotting, or about to go rotten, fleshy fruit. Cantelope worked for me but probably any aged fleshy fruit would do.
