Pay more and get one that does not break in half for shipping. The seal was never good for this and leaks half way. We have tightened, and added waterproof glue and it’s still awful. Wanted to love it

Looks good but I have only put the barrel to gather waiting for the next rain. I have yet to install the diversion device which will divert water from the gutters to the new barrel.

I really liked the appearance of the barrel. However, there was an issue with the seams. When the barrel was put together and water tested there were two leaks. There was a little dent in the top seam and directly below an identical dent. We did use caulking to seal those two areas. It was a manufactured flaw. I still really like the quality and will order 2 more.

5-16-2024 the quality of the plastic and the general use of the barrel has been so sufficient that I have added 1 star, to 3 stars. In fact, I might even order another one. The first order was upsetting, I was tired, we don't have water here so it was kind of an emergency, and I do believe it's a little ridiculous. 33 screws.My main concerns was 33 screws and it leaking. I have constructed the barrel and used it daily, albeit with the top piece left loose. I just use it as a lid. I love the barrel. The water in it is great quality. I have a nice brass fitting on the bottom.I think the problem is they assumed people are able to do construction like this and honestly it's kind of a skilled construction projects because it involves a lot of fittings and gaskets.Thank you guys though the plastic quality is amazing and your customer service was amazing so I got a little discount back. I use the barrel daily and we managed to create a solution that created no waste.Good company despite oddly difficult barrel construction design.3/20/2024 I added a star just because customer service was responsive, and we found a solution that satisfied both parties.I did manage to get the bottom a 3 rings assembled, i just use the top one as a lid, did have to get another barrel that can hold the full amount but overall it's ok when construction is finished.The way the gasket sits on each barrel ring is different, and it's frankly unnecessarily complicated.Construction process includes:1. Modifying gaskets and pieces to fit (they dont, the r2 gasket i believe it is, doesn't fit.)2. The barrel itself is like.. 6+ pieces. You have 4 individual rings, a lid that's in pieces, etc.3. Like 33 screws to tighten into basically unthreaded or barely threaded plastic so any mistake is game over basically.If you want to improve your product, do 2 pieces. a bottom and a top. 1 gasket. Get the gasket length right. Actually test it. Maybe throw a tube of silicone in there.This is mental. This is what you would send to a factory for a line of workers to construct.
