Excellent product. Solid design, great build quality, and clean aesthetic. Forms a watertight seal with the gasket. The hex screws make it hard to identify, which is ideal. Great to stash in a vehicle for when you forget where you parked. The housing slightly reduces the sound from the ping locator, but that’s not its main purpose. Best used as a discreet locator for valuable packages or luggage. Very pleased overall.Only concern is potential battery leakage. So use high-quality, leakproof long-life batteries. No problems fitting an Apple Airtag and it works with two AA batteries - will do an update in ten years time if still using the same batteries as claimed 😉

So long story short it works with Samsung's SmartTag2short story long, I trimmed down the original case because I did NOT want to be soldering the antennas, and soldered the power leads directly to the original pads on the tag's circuit board, (if anyone else tries this you need to have power applied to both of the + (positive) pads) the sound works and so does UWB, I am really impressed with the build quality and the seal.I think Elevation Lab should make another iteration of this design but the connector is the original battery slider for the SmartTag2 or whatever design comes out that's popular.I'll update here if something happens, but I doubt it'll be with the Capsule itself.

Good, well made, solid product.I took the additional measure of removing the speaker from my Apple AirTag. You can find many videos on YouTube on how to do that. It is really simple. Now I have a silent tracking device for my campervan.The only thing I would have liked to see different maybe is adding 2 screw holes for easy attachment to a surface. Now I have to glue it. Not a big thing, but maybe something for a future improved version.

This is simply a genius idea. I use AirTags for keeping track of many things around the house and am always replacing batteries long after the device has stopped transmitting. Apple USED to give you information on battery levels, however that was done away with some time ago. This adapter removes any worries about battery life for items that this casing can fit in. This is not going to work for the AirTag on our cat's collar, or our car keys, but for larger things like cars and luggage, this is perfect! As a bonus, this housing makes the AirTag very waterproof!I plan to purchase more of these adapters as existing button batteries die.This product also inspired me to modify some other off brand "AirTags" to use AA lithium batteries with a little soldering of a 2xAA battery holder. I would not advise this modification for anything you would take to the airport (luggage or carry on bags) or if you frequent in a place that X-Rays the belongings of those entering a facility. But this modification will work great for my lawn mower, vehicles, and other larger items that I have no intention to travel by air with.Time for a little math. Standard CR2032 batteries are typically rated for 235 mAh. 1.5V AA lithium batteries are typically rated around 3000 mAh. That works out to 12.76x by my math, but even if both of my and their calculations are off, this equates to at least a 10x improvement in battery life, and in many cases that will result in 5-10 years of battery life for an AirTag!

A time capsule air tag, a great idea that only had to be found. Longer range air tag are coming up from Apple, will be buying more of these Time Capsule as I have already found room for them.

So far it's great if it changes i will update review. Basic airtag or Samsung tag only lasts couple months in vehicle at -30 so this is great idea. Seems well built. Too bad I haven't noticed that 2 pack is better value. I got mine ask as singles. Waiting for company to make Samsung version of it

This works with my android motorola Moto tag. This is a pretty good idea and now I can track my motorcycle for a long time. Would recommend for the airtag or Moto tag.

Was will man mehr, als mehr Batteriekapazität? Genau - mehr Batteriekapazität! und genau das macht dieses Gehäuse! Handelsübliche AA Batterien werden verwendet, anstatt die CR2032 Batterien. Das Gehäuse wist fertig gefertigt und scheint mir auch Wasserdicht zu sein. Ich bin überzeugt und kann das Produkt weiterempfehlen. Zu meiner Zeit habe ich knapp 28€ dafür gezahlt. Fand ich schon viel, doch zwischenzeitlich kostet das Gehäuse über 50€. Das wäre es mir dann wiederum nicht wert.
