These shoes are super convenient, easy to put on and take off, and features a simple design that's perfect for both office settings and casual wear. The only downside is that the sole tends to separate from the shoe after several months of daily use. Despite this, I liked them so much that I ended up buying a second pair. Great overall value!

Most Durable, I prefer these to Vans. Vans are great, however, Emerica has perfected the durable slip on Skate Shoe. Can't beat the off season style price tags! A Skater's Dream, Casual, Comfortable, Fits All Occasions, Every style. Go Ahead, measure your foot, match your size, select your swagger.

Emericas are usually a safe bet, been buying them for 25 years. I got a first pair of these in fall 2021 as 'slipper alternatives' for wearing around the house for the ~half of the year that it's too cold to wear flip-flops. So they spend quite a bit of time on my feet but never doing anything too punishing. I'm satisfied enough with them that I just got another pair for when the first pair reaches retirement: they're by now showing noticeable wear in multiple places but will definitely make it through 2 entire half-years and *might* withstand a 3rd winter in 2023-2024, we'll see. Overall not too bad for the price ($75–80 + tax) and considering how much I wear them in total. The shoes in general and G6 insoles in particular are really comfortable, more flexible than regular laced vulc skate shoes, and perfect for wearing around the house. I'd say most of the wear is about what you'd expect from decent quality shoes worn this much; *except* for the 'midsoles', which consist of a thin layer of cellulose made by Bontex that I was disappointed to see are still featured in the new pair I got. That's because they seem to start cracking and breaking down into chunks in no time (i.e. 2–3 months), which come loose and just fall out of the shoes when you remove the insoles. The midsoles of my current pair have by now almost totally disintegrated after nearly 2 half-years of use. TBH I'm not even sure what the purpose of this midsole layer even is—it's so thin that it doesn't even make a noticeable difference in the fit of shoes once it's gone. But either way I feel the speed at which it disintegrates is pretty crappy quality. Other than that, I have pretty narrow/skinny feet and these fit quite well, if slightly on the loose side once thoroughly broken in (at first they felt quite snug). Others with wider feet have recommended going a half-size up from your usual size. Definitely don't go a half-size down.
