Description:
- Support ESP-01, ESP-01S, ESP-12F, ESP-F, ESP-S, ESP-12S,ESP-12E, ESP-C3F, ESP-C2 , kindly note that it only works with SMD chips/chip module, can not work with implementing whole module like NodeMCUs or other development board.
- Micro USB interface, onboard CP2102 chip, please make sure your PC has installed CP2102 driver before you flash.
- All I/O ports have been drawn out, it supports one-click firmware download function, and add burning, it is plug and play, very easy to program the chip module.
- Onboard 2 LED indicators, blue LED is for Mode indicator, while green led is for serial communication indicator.
- Onboard 2 micro Tactile push button switch, one is Reset, the other is download/flash.

Please make sure the chip module is seated properly in the programmer before you flash the new firmware!
Please take left picture of the programmer with ESP-01S wifi module for reference.
How to program?
Here take the programing the chip module with espressif flash download tool to flash the file in bin format for example.
1, Download the flash tool from espressif and also install CP2102 driver if you don't install it yet.
2, Open the flash download tool, and choose ESP8266. Fill in the bin file address in SPIdownload.
3, If the programmer you have in hand is the newest version, the Flash config is filled automatically, no need to choose. If you need choose it manually, you need set the flash config fistly.
4, Choose the COM port, baud rate is default.
5, Click "Start", and it starts to flash. If you failed to flash it, pls click "Stop" firstly, and then re-click "Start"
If you use the newest board, no need to press the Flash button. If yours is old version, you may need press Flash firstly.

I'm using this board to burn ESP8266-12F boards, it uses the copper wire contacts to communicate with the board. This board works but not when fully seated in the slot, I need to move it slightly to make better contact with the board. It would also work if I pull on the ESP8266 when seated completely flush with this development board, so this is something to keep in mind when trying to work with this otherwise this board works great.

I was previously programming my ESP12 modules using a breadboard and it was an absolute mess and pain. This board is great -- the ESP12F snaps right into the adjustable part and comes out just as easily.It's plug n play -- just select the specs of the module you're using (Generic ESP8266 Module) and upload while holding the flash button.If you are using ESP12F/Es in your projects, or want to use just the ESP12s instead of implementing whole NodeMCUs/other boards into your projects but are worried about programming them, here is the solution.
