I am pretty meticulous on the windows and this is a game changer. One thing I didn’t hear from any other reviews was the handle - it’s short, metal, great for hand held BUT I was easily able to just pop it on to a painting pole it snugged right on there with no problem for high places and remained secure. There is no “screw” type thread on the gold handle but it totally doesn’t matter - worked perfectly with the long pole used for painting and used another extend pole that was from an old broom, so good luck and enjoy your clean windows

As said in an earlier review of the washer thingy, we were advised which one to buy by one of our neighbours who was a window cleaner for a few years. Buy cheap, buy twice they say. This is a brilliant squeegee and really cleans the windows well.Had cheaper ones before and always get streaks on the window. This is so good, no streaks. Make sure you clean after use with warm soapy water ( not hot )

This is my second time purchasing this item. It last quite a long time and I use it to wipe the shower door.The rubber squeegee is very durable and I have used some silicone squeegees but they do not do the work this one does.Would definitely purchase again and would recommend to anyone.

I have to say this is the best squeegee I have ever owned. I use a spray bottle mixed with warm water and a little bit of windex with this squeegee and it does a fantastic job. I have only done the inside of my windows as we are in December. I highly recommend the ‘Ettore Proseries Brass Squeegee.

We have high windows requiring use of an 8 ft pole. I had been using an automotive windshield squeegee/scrub pad which was too stiff, especially in cold weather. The soft rubber on this is streak-free using light pressure even when it's cold. My aluminum extension pole has a standard acme thread end but I built it up with a few wraps of electrical tape and the tapered squeegee handle fits reasonably well.Wish I'd bought this years ago.

The Ettore 10012 Brass Squeegee has exceeded my expectations. It arrived on time, very well packed and in perfect condition. Unlike squeegees commonly used for cleaning windshields, the Ettore has a soft rubber blade with a square edge which allows it to flex. This proved to be a major feature when I cleaned the second story windows on my house using the Ettore 16 foot extension pole (highly reccomended). I was concerned that I would not be able to apply sufficient pressure with the pole fully extended to enable the squeegee to work properly. In fact, because of the soft flexible edge, it worked flawlessly. I was able to clean my windows in a very short period of time but the main thing was that I didn't have to get up on a ladder in order to clean the upper windows. One caveat on cleaning the upper windows with a pole: because the pole was fully extended and at a fairly shallow angle to the window, I was only able to squeegee the lower half of the window to about 3 inches of the bottom due to interference with the window sill. I was able to easily clean that area from the inside. I used a solution of 1 teaspoon of dish detergent to 2 gallons water which did a good job of cleaning and left no streaks. I applied the solution with the Ettore washable microfiber scrubber (also highly reccomended).In short, I am very pleased with the product and the performance. The money I spent changing over to squeegee based window cleaning was well worth it...it does a better job than spray cleaner and paper towels in a small fraction of the time and, by eliminating the ladder, is significantly safer.I definately reccomend this product.
