I'm sure that part is my fault. But to label it 9mm/223 usually indicates it somehow does both. If you sell another product that covers the other bore size, label that product separately. It just convolutes things for new firearm owners. I was obviously expecting more than was possible. But naming it like that is misleading.Product wise, my first thought is, no power button? Even if you put a hole for a paperclip on the side where the button could be housed, at least it's something. Taking the batteries out then back in, then out again...really? There are enough loose bits and bobs to worry about with firearms. Don't add to it for Pete sakes.Overall, 3*'s for misleading product name and poor design.

I sight in my pistol with the Red Dot and 9 mm carbine on my backyard. Next day I went to the shooting range and site was right on point !!

Not totally garbage but not useful though... it is off for sure, but kind of close enough to kick start red dot on a pistol... have not tested on PCC or Rifle, but suspect you will not see any hole close to the target at 100 yards

No rim on the Cartridge so it is a pain to remove from chamber. Either a rod or screwdriver

I bought this and then misplaced it after a while. Then I bought one of the ones that looks exactly like a 9mm bullet. But then found this one and compared them side-by-side.The EZshoot is much longer than a normal 9mm round, so the front of the tool fits into the barrel itself to align with the path of the projectile, regardless of how the shell sits in the chamber. So the result is the EZshoot tool aligns properly.With the bullet-shaped bore sight loaded, two different 9mm striker-fire handguns (Glock style and P320) loads in the chamber slightly cantered to one side, making the laser off center of the barrel. This is because the laser is aligned with the shell chamber (due to it being exactly the size of a 9mm shell with a bullet) instead of aligned the barrel. Due to the way guns shoot, the bullet always follows the path of the barrel, even if the shell isn't perfectly lined up with the barrel. So it is much more important to have the laser lined up with the barrel.If you aren't certain ... put your laser tool in the chamber and put a piece of clear tape over the end of the barrel. With the bullet-shaped one the laser dot is off to one side of the barrel opening. With the EZshoot the dot on the tape is centered in the barrel opening.
