I purchased the fittings because the product information said it was capable to screw on. I didn’t see any threads but by applying pressure and useing a rag to grip they did go on all the way. A tip that will help. I used a very small Allen wrench that fit into the hole that the copper conductor fit in then useing my thumb nail marked at the end of the connector. I put a small piece of painters tape on the Allen wrench. Useing that measurement I transferred it to the stripped coax and put another piece of tape on the coax. When the connector reached that mark I knew it was in all the way. Than crimped it with the compression tool. This was the first time I did this and made 6 connections without a problem.

But— They DO NOT fit in either of my two coaxial compressor tools, (WAY too long and wide) and now are worthless to me. They're now taking up space in one of my repair kits. If these need a special coaxial compression tool it should be stated in the ad.

This item came very fast and was a great replacement connector to the original connector that had cracked off inside. I’m back up and getting signal again at the cabin.

If you do not have your crimper adjusted properly for these connectors, they will split when the crimper is fully closed. You have to sacrifice about three of them to get your crimper adjusted and then they work fine.

I had to purchase a crimper tool for $17 because my older tool was about 1/8th inch too small to accept this item. The cable I received had a defective connector on one end. These are pretty good connectors tho'.

We received three connectors with the tool ordered from others, but still missing the 10 pack of connectors. We had to contact someone else to supply as this was a last minute emergency.

Very high quality ! I didn't have any experience with installing coaxial cable connectors before so I went thru a few before I got it right . I'm glad I had extra . It wasn't the connectors fault , it was because of my inexperience . They worked great once I got the hang of it . I would definately buy them again .
