Why do you need the Faraday Bag?
Most keyless fobs carry identification chips that pick up radio signals sent out by their car. The vehicle recognizes the fob when it's in range and unlocks the doors. Keyless ignition systems work in the same way - enabling cars to start when the key fob is detected in the cabin. Criminals can exploit this via a wireless relay attack. Using a radio frequency relay booster, it's possible to pick up and then transmit a key fob signal to trick the car into thinking a fob is present. This enables entry and theft from the cabin or boot - and, in the case of keyless ignition systems, theft of the vehicle itself. How does the Lanpard Faraday Bag work?

The small size fits my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness FOB perfectly. It's a bit bulky, but it does exactly what it is supposed to. When in the pouch, the FOB cannot transmit any signals to the car. I can even sit in the car with the FOB and the car won't detect the FOB at all. This gives me piece of mind that my car will be more difficult to steal.

This product works as advertised. When the fob is inside the bag, my car won’t open or start. I will let it stay outside the bag when I’m driving around and put it inside the bag as soon as I get home. Good price. Lovely design. I love the chain inside. I don’t have to worry that I will dropped it on the snow or puddle.

I like that my key ring attaches to a chain inside the Faraday pouch. That makes it easy to pull out. I also like the secure feeling I get knowing that my code can't be read by a passer-by. This is just one more thing, a very important one, that I can do to be sure my new car is safe from theft.

Dość mały wewnątrz, klucz z samochodu i brelok z immobilisera wchodzą, ale nie tak łatwo, jak człowiek oczekiwał. Ale to pikuś, gdyż futerał blokuje skutecznie sygnały, czyli robi to, co obiecuje producent.:)
