this thing has a mind of its own. Since I got it is just randomly goes on and it is behind a cabinet door, so it is not "seeing" movement to trigger it.

I tried to mount this unit onto the wall left of our exit door from house to garage, and found that the side motion sensor will not recognize me until I move out into the garazge 6 feet or more defeating the purpose of an immediate movement on switch. I will try to move it onto the garage ceiling to see if it works any better.
