I have a 160 gallon tank and our heater went a glass one. My partner and I talked about how easily they break. We came across this product, of course there was concern as out fish are 15-20 years old and loosing them would be super traumatic but our Oscar is hitting them and breaking them quickly so... we took a chance anyway and tryed it in a bucket before our tank and everything was fine. The heater has been in our tank for weeks now with no issues at all.The heater surprisingly heated the tank to temp with in 5 hours and it was cold enough we had done a 50% water change the day before.Well worth the money.

Seems to work well but can’t judge too critically as I’ve only had a few days and it’s used to heat up my fresh batches of saltwater, but it did that quite well for a Chinese heater.Very fast shipping as well

This heater killed hundreds of dollars of tropical fish. Got water up to temperature just fine, but will not maintain. Once it shuts off it won't come back on to keep at temp. Please don't buy. Dangerous for your fish and a waste of money
