For security we don’t like to leave the rods and reels on the boat. I wanted a quick and easy way to store them when not in use. I recently installed the Fishing Rod Holders in my garage, and they’ve made a huge difference in organizing my fishing gear! This set comes with a pair of holders, one to hold the top and another to hold the bottom of the rod, holding 6 rods in total. The design is simple yet functional, allowing me to mount them on the wall or ceiling, making it versatile depending on your space. The holders are sturdy and come with screws for easy installation. I was able to set them up in just a few minutes, and they hold my rods securely without any fear of them slipping or getting damaged. The horizontal design is great for keeping the poles in place and preventing any tangling or bending.Overall, these rod holders are a solid choice for anyone needing a practical and efficient way to store fishing poles, they’re easy to install, durable, and keep my rods organized and in great condition.

I was looking for a good system to store my extra fishing rods out in the shed and I came across this. I've seen similar designs all over for years, and this is along the same lines. Durable plastic with high density foam in the "gripping" section. It was simple to install, and the rods fit into it without too much effort, and they hold well. There really isn't much more I can say than that, I'm quite happy with it and, in the location it is, I expect it will last me a long time. I'll update my review as I get more use out of it, should I encounter anything that warrants it.

The quality is about average since it's essentially just two custom fitted foam plates sitting inside plastic holders, but I can't argue with the performance. The problem with my old rod holder is that the foam was simply too stiff, so even though I kept spacers inside the gaps, they still put quite a strain on my blanks. Here, there's plenty of space inside and the collars are even curved which is SO much better for moving my rods in and out. The grey foam is still stiff I'll admit, but at least it's not completely compressed and the texture is definitely smoother.Fortunately, with the removable foam, you can basically pop one of them out (from the horizontal set) and use it as a base in case you want to store your rods vertically. In fact one of the foam plates is clearly thinner than the other so you can just use that one as the base, since it leaves a bit of a gap for the butts of the rods to press up against.Piece of cake to install both since they only take 2 screws each; but despite the hardware being included, I still opted to use my own screws just for some extra security. The distance between the screw holes turned out to be exactly 33.2 cm, or just over 13". Definitely would recommend using a leveller if installing them vertically too. Just be aware that it's incredibly important to measure the distance between the two holders and compare it against the rods you'll be storing because you definitely don't want one of the 2 cm thick foam plates to line up with a guide or guide seat, especially on spinning rods. I learned that the hard way. Fortunately, there's enough space in between each of the 6 foam seats to accommodate a size 2500-3000 spinning reel, so there's no need to take the reels off either (I do anyway because I swap my reels out all the time). Not a bad little pair!

Nice quality set. The foam is nice and Ridgid. I like that it has small 'cutout' areas where the rod sits i.e the foam isn't just straight. That lets the rods sit evenly inside the unit, aligned well.FYI, with these units, you'll have difficulty getting six rods in with reels. With reels, this is more like a 3 rod holder. I dunno, I guess people take their reels off, I never do. It's not an fault of this unit specifically, I have other units and it's the same thing. One thing I don't like is the mounting system. It's just one screw at each end. They provide a set of small anchors and screws. The rods fit very tightly into the foam, and I'm quite sure when I pull the rods out a couple of times the whole unit will pull away from the wall. So either I'm going to get better anchors, or I'm going to figure out how to add additional mounting hardware. So just be aware that you'll want to do something with that.Overall a nice set, looks good, great foam inserts, but mounting options are poorly designed.

This fishing rod holder does exactly what it’s supposed to—keeps rods organized and off the ground while being easy to install. The two-screw setup makes mounting quick and simple, and it works great for saving space in my tiny house. However, my rods with thicker handles were a bit tough to push into the foam slots. That said, for rods without full foam or cork handles on the bottom, it holds them securely with no issues. Overall, a well-made and functional storage solution!
