In order to match your car perfectly, we have designed the perfect installation steps.
First of all, you need to prepare glue by yourself. Because glue is not included in our products.
You should apply glue to the place need to be repaired, and then put in the stud, Then you need to put the stud on the small wooden block.
Finally, You need to fix the white custom clam shell cover in place with glue. You need to press hard for a few minutes.
This product is very convenient to install, I think you needn't any other equipment except glue.

the vent requires you to glue these wooden pieces into the plastic shield, and try to line them up with the boat mount holes. probably not something to do sitting on the dock. before i had a chance to put tape across to hold it in place....it fell in the water. this plastic piece does not float, and sinks as fast a metal.

I put the vent on using the recommended glue and process, held it for 5 minutes and the vent fell off into the water and disappeared.

I used 2 part gorilla epoxy to mount the clamshell to the foam type mounting blocks. It rested for 5 days. It lasted an hour on the boat. The bumper knocked it off the foam blocks, the foam actually came apart, not the epoxy. Get the stainless steel one that screws in. It Is bulletproof.

Pros: The shell is okCons: The pre-drilled holes are too big in the connectors fall out. I had to fill them and drill new holes. It took quite a bit of engineering to figure out where the holes need to be. Be prepared to do some work.
