Once in a while needing to store forklift outside I need to cover it and this keeps the weather off but not sure how long it will last as it is thin material that im thinking is going to rip on the fork riser assemble.

Let me preface this review with the statement "I do NOT order items that I do not intend to use myself." That said; this was ordered to cover my 6000# Toyota pneumatic tire 3 stage mast fork truck. This cover DROWN the truck. I have no doubt that it would easily cover an 8000# truck, possibly bigger. It is well made and the zippered access on each side is a nice touch. However with its way oversize the zipper operation awkward at best. Ot does have many tie down flags so that if you are storing your truck in a wind prone area, I am not, it should stay on pretty well. I won't shy you away from this cover, for the price it is a good deal, just bear in mind it is huge.

I remember car covers from years past that were basically thin cotton cloth that were a herald of woe in so many ways. The new upgraded cover has an outer layer that looks and feels like nylon or a windbreaker. The inner side of the fabric is rubber in look and feel. It feels like it weighs about 10 pounds. There are a couple reflective patches sewed on. The fabric choice means it is more likely to grip your forklift and thereby be less likely to be susceptible to wind picking it up and moving it about. There's an opening for a side entry. The second benefit is obviously, rubber is a great seal against moisture. It will also keep moisture in. So, letting it sit long term this way could promote a musty return. I suppose rubber could offer protection against some minor hail. It also provides protection against a leaky roof if you have one.

This NiwNiw Forklift Cover,600D Oxford Heavy Duty Rain Winter Waterproof Windproof cover is great and fits my skid steer fine, but it is pretty thin. I was hoping that it would be a bit thicker. I can imagine that its really made to cover up a fork lift when its inside somewhere to keep it free from dust. I don't think in the hot sun this will last a long time with the oxford fabric, however, we will see with time and I can try to update this in the future with a "how long did it last" update. I like the size zippers on it since it lets you have access to the side of whatever you are covering. I like the fact that it fits tightly which is great for preventing the wind from taking it off. The reflective corners helps people not to back into it. Overall I'd recommend it.
