So far working great! truck is running much closer to 190, 200 degrees now and I can see the temp going up and down slightly near that range. mileage improved greatly as well and check engine light has gone away. old thermostat(s) were definitely stuck or giving problems. was running around 160, 180 before... and check engine light related to thermostats.

I thought that the price was certainly right(approx. $30cdn) on these thermostats for my duramax LMM. I "youtubed" the install and not difficult(for most) so my reasoning was if they don't work then I will get the oem's. The reviews were mostly negative so I wasn't expecting them to work as they do with only one problem...The seal that one of the two came with was too thick so I used the original off the bad thermostat and to my delight it sealed. I have been driving around for about 2 months now and so far so good. Note that I haven't worked the truck other than around the city and some high speed freeway driving...empty.

Bought these for the 6.6 duramax .they do not fit .one of the thermostats fits but the other is slightly to big ..the duramax uses 2 different size thermostats in the same housing.one is a low temp and the other is a high temp..these do not fit..
