Took the mats right out of my long haired cat, even close and tight to the skin. The best brush she's ever had. I could felt a whole other cat out of the mats and fur that this brush removed from my cat.

This Furminator tool is the best thing ever and really worth the money! It easily took out mats, clumps, loose hair and debris from my long-haired cats and they didn't seem to mind it as much as the previous methods I have used. Highly recommend!

I already have a dematter for my Maltese but the tines are long and set far apart. That one is great to break up her mats. I have yet to try this one as she was recently shaved but it looks perfect. The cutting/dematting tines are adjustable for how far out they go and are tightly spaced. The spacing looks perfect to cut through the small mats that I currently try to work out with my fingers (a long process).Gave 4 stars because it looks perfect. Will update in a few weeks when I see how well it works
