Bought this to make biothane leash and did not even get one day out of it. It came very dull and would not punch through the biothane easily at all and made a mess out of the leash.

This tool might be great if you're going to make a hole in something super thin like a sheet of paper but if you use on say a belt, it makes the biggest ugliest hole you can imagine. I used this tool to make one hole in a belt then used a drill with a 3/16 in bit to make the second on and without question the drill bit was the way to go. This tool makes a very ugly hole.

Used this to punch new bolt holes into rubber blades i was making for my Snowjoe Blower.Worked perfectly, and saved me a lot of $$$$ compared to buying manufacturers blade edges.

I purchased a few of these to help me cut bolt holes when I am making gaskets. These cut a much cleaner hole than you can with a knife or a drill bit.

Great solid 3/16 inch hole punch, which unfortunately had almost no info about dimensions of the body/shaft in product description, and was too thick for our needs. I have included a photo of the punch on a grid for size info. Dimensions: Length 4 in; body width ~3/8 in.; hole size 3/16 in. Made of forged (not stainless or carbon) steel, so it may be a softer steel and need sharpening more often when it loses its edge. But very sturdy build as a result. Not useful for our purposes, so we are returning it.
