Bought these for my 13yo to use on her gymnastics bar. She wanted to practice at home but was getting calluses on her hand. We went with a size large. Definitely go up a size from what you think. Gloves don’t grip the bar but they protect her hands which is exactly what we needed. Great cost to quality.

I bought Lrg and XL and they are not quite long enough. Great grips other than the fitPalms of my hands are 3”

I own an expensive pair of bear grips and picsils (dont get me wrong i like them) but i still chose these ones most of the time for pull up workouts!
