Very handy I've used it for so much more than I bought it for. Worked great for cleaning up the finish on some fire arms, small wood carvings even plastic models. It's not as strong as I'd hoped for but if your have some patience. It's great the battery last awhile too. I ran it full out for 30 mins before I had to recharge it. At the price it's being sold for it's a great deal

I feel like the bad reviews were expecting this to perform like a full size, 120V rotary tool. Sure, I could stop the bit with too much pressure, and could force it to shut down, but I could do the same to my full size cordless drill if I wanted to.This is small and handy. It has enough power and speed to do small jobs. I didn't time it, but it ran for at least 15 minutes grinding paint off of steel in a hard to reach spot. Would have been doing it manually without this little gem.The only things I would change are to have a separate on/off button and memory for the speed setting. Otherwise a good little tool.
