As a multifaceted creator immersed in various crafting and design disciplines, I'm constantly seeking tools and materials that elevate the quality of my work. Recently, I integrated graphite crucibles into my arsenal, and I'm thrilled to share my positive experience with these indispensable components. The graphite crucibles, available in various sizes ranging from 1kg to 3kg, have become an integral part of my metalworking endeavors. Whether I'm melting gold, silver, copper, or other metals in my furnace, these crucibles consistently deliver exceptional performance and reliability. One of the standout features of these crucibles is their high purity graphite composition, which ensures optimal thermal conductivity and resistance to thermal shock. This attribute is crucial for maintaining stable melting temperatures and preventing crucible failure, especially during extended casting sessions. Moreover, the crucibles' robust construction and precise design contribute to their longevity and durability. They withstand the intense heat generated by my furnace without warping or cracking, allowing me to focus on my craft without worrying about equipment failures.Another noteworthy aspect is the crucibles' versatility. Whether I'm conducting large-scale casting projects or delicate jewelry making, these crucibles accommodate my diverse needs with ease. Their generous capacity and efficient heat transfer enable me to achieve consistent results across a wide range of applications.Furthermore, the clean and smooth interior surface of the crucibles facilitates easy pouring and minimal metal adhesion, saving valuable time during the casting process. This feature enhances workflow efficiency and ensures that each cast meets my exacting standards of quality and precision. In summary, my experience with graphite crucibles has been overwhelmingly positive. They have proven to be indispensable tools in my workshop, enabling me to push the boundaries of creativity and craftsmanship with confidence. Whether you're a seasoned artisan or a budding creator, investing in these high-quality crucibles is sure to elevate your metalworking endeavors to new heights.

I always recommend using these. Nothing but high quality, and long lasting pours.

Obviously it’s great to use bigger ones for big pours but delicate or thin pours use smaller crucibles!

Après une utilisation le creuset a tout simplement fondu. A ne pas acheter , a moins de vouloir jeter 50$ dans les vidanges. VRAIMENT DECU!

Saw another review for this product saying it was perfect for melting cans but that isn't true. Only reason I bought it. Ima have to recrush every can so it will fit in.

Identical to the 3KG crucible that comes with the TOAUTO electric furnace. Crucible arrived today. Packaged in a layer of foam sheet, and a layer of bubble wrap, and then in a corrugated cardboard box, and then amazon placed it just in a padded paper package envelope. Arrived with no cracks or pinholes. Shiny and smooth, almost looks metallic. I conditioned it at 260C for 2 hours to bake out any moisture, and let it cool. Tonight I used it to melt copper pipe pieces and pour into a mold. Of course, the new shiny appearance will fade as all graphite crucibles break down little by little and turn sooty black each time they are used.

I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas this year and when I opened the package to take a look and the 3kg is huge. I'm so excited for my boyfriend to start using it.

Send like a quality crucible. (2KG) Will update this review as I use it a few times. ***Update*** LASTED ABOUT 4 MELTS, THEN TURNED INTO AN UNUSABLE PIECE OF GARBAGE. I'm going to try a ceramic crucible next.
