Other recommended products include UHT high-nutrient food made from living black mosquito larvae, and Moina Macrocopa kept fresh in sterilized bottles that you can directly feed to your fish.

you see me in this picture, thats me releasing thousands of those shrimps in my local river, theyre is no more phytoplancton and everythng is dying. the hatching speed is great tho, i reccomand.

Great product! This package arrived yesterday, I read reviews about no eggs hatching, but i also know a very common mistake is that people will use Tap water to put eggs in, when most tap water has chlorine in it, which will kill the tiny eggs. I used bottled spring water (the cheap 24 bottled pack).The box comes with 6 capsules of eggs, I put one directly into my planted fish tank in a area of high density plants so the eggs didnt get eaten fast (by shrimp or snails or fish), and i put a second capsule in a shallow dish with spring water. That was yesterday.Today when i woke up and went to my fish tank, i could see all the fish huddled near the area i put the eggs in. When i look closer, i could see tiny things moving in the water, and the fish snapping them up. I then looked at my side dish, and there was a cloud of little moving things in the water, must be over 200 of them.The fairy shrimp move in a jerking motion so its easy to see them compared to floating debris. I was very happy with how fast they hatched, it said 3-10 days, but less then 24hours later i have a fleet of fairy shrimp.I recommend.

Followed the protocol to the letter, NOTHING hatched. Tried many other protocols and the most I got were two shrimps from one protocol where I left the light on for days and days before seeing a sign of hatching. In another attrmpt, I left a bucket outside and it hatched about 5 of them. Very disappointed😞

I've bought this product I think 6 times over the last month or so. Easy hatching. This was great for raising killifish and african dwarf frogs from eggs to full size. The only problem was 2 packages were defective, no hatches from the whole box. Big bummer at almost $20 to not have a single capsule hatch. Being the only live food source caused some babies to grow at a slower rate as there was not enough food. Hit or miss i guess... Easier then brine shrimp
