I’d just like to preface by saying that I raise daphnia, scuds, black worms, grindal worms, white worms, micro worms and more.I used a full vial of eggs in several different set ups. In 2 containers I used aged tank water only with the eggs, then in each subsequent tank I used a floating ring to contain the eggs and prevent them from washing up on the glass.I then added eggs to 5 different established tanks (all well aerated, 2 unheated, 3 heated with predators, all heavily planted) and then to 2, 4 gallon jars with sponge filters, no heaters and with just daphnia for company. It’s been 6 weeks and there has been zero hatching in all 9 “tanks” and I’m quite disappointed. I was going to purchase their rotifer eggs as well but won’t be giving them any more of my money.Once I try again with the second vial I will update should there be any successful hatching.

I got a really decent hatch rate from this package and I've only used half of it so far and I have a full jar just crawling with these little moina. I didn't even follow the instructions properly (never used an air pump, wrong temperature water) and they still hatched.Definitely recommend this if you are getting live food for your fish. They hatched sooner than the instructions said they would too which was a nice bonus. I gave some to my betta fish and I was skeptical because they were smaller than I pictured them but he can still see them and he's currently swimming all over his tank right now and hunting them down.If you were breeding fish they'd make really good food for fry as well as they are really small especially on day one after hatching.

I put the so called eggs in green water at around 78f with a slow bubbler and after two weeks there is still no life in that hatchery. not sure how long I have to wait but the package said 3-10 days. they only live for around 5 days. Just a waist of money.

Ich habe schon bei verschiedenen Hersteller bzw. Lieferanten Moina-Eier gekauft. Nur mit diesen Moina-Eiern ist auch ein Schlupf geglückt. Kann ich also empfehlen!

I purchased these, some fairy shrimp and some triops to put into a habit I set up. 10 gallon tank, I was expecting there'd be at most a dozen each, but NOPE. it was hundreds. After just a couple days, it looked like it was snowing in there with all those micro organisms swimming around. Ended up having to feed most of them to my goldfish as I was not prepared to keep that many, especially of I let them grow. But... gotta say, if you get the water conditions and temp right, they definitely will hatch. Will be buying this again once I know wtf I'm gonna be doing with them. Experiment went a little too well, but all my fish are very happy.

Tons of eggs! Nothing happened with my first batch, there's plenty to try again.
