I've been polishing nickel silver guitar parts with compounds from Caswell. Am having massive problems with scratches in the mirror finish and none of their compounds are working for me, so I went looking for what I used to use decades ago and remembered that I tried both of these compounds. I had some old ones laying around and ZAM is the winner. Got mirror finish, no scratches in final polish. I did buy some American made compounds to also try, since Caswell's are most likely made in China. Have not tried them yet but ZAM gave me what I used to get back in my lapidary art days when I made art jewelry for spiritual designs I did that appeared in Lapidary Journal. ZAM works for soft stones and soft metals, is slightly cutting and is just great stuff for what I'm polishing.

These compounds polish silver to an excellent shine. Load up your rotary tool with a buffing wheel, apply some of the compound to the wheel, and watch the magic happen. This takes pieces to a whole new level of showroom shine. I love that it's safe to use Fabulustre even when stones are already in place, restoring shine when needed. Using ZAM is always the last step in my polishing routine. These tubes are little, but you don't go through a lot of compound because they are the final stage before buffing with a dry cloth. I view these compounds as essential parts of my kit and don't know what I'd do without them. Everything would be a lot less shiny, that's for sure. These compounds are easy to use and a great bargain.
