I color code my plant strains. These multi color sets are very helpful. You don't have to label as much.

Generally not recommended. Passable for short term use only. These labels are flimsy, very thin plastic, initially very flexible, but quickly turn brittle. If used over the winter outdoors, they will be brittle and the tops will snap off. I planted seedlings in fall 2023 and by midsummer 2024, every label I pulled up (even gently) cracked a bit and many had already been cracked off at ground level on their own and the tops were scattered about. I had no idea which seedling was which without referring to my seedling map spreadsheet and nearby older seedlings with other more durable labels. So they are pretty much useless for my needs--hybridization with a high volume of individually tracked seedlings--as I plant between 300 and 1500 new seedlings annually that require separate tracking for up to 4 years (typically 2-3 years minimum). I have good snow cover and am in zone 5b (Can & US) for what it's worth. I can only see these lasting a single (warm) season and wouldn't use them with my veg since they're plastic. Also, they're made in China. I use made in Canada/USA wood stakes in my veg garden that last longer. I think with my plant breeding I'll be going with re-usable metal stakes that are made in Canada with laser printed labels from now on. Losing my labels in one season like this is such a cost and hassle. I'm working on re-labelling hundreds of seedlings right now with new stakes when I have a mountain of other tasks piling up, so the cost is far greater than the small savings from purchasing cheap labels.

Write your plant name with a sharpie and stick it in the ground. What more could you want.

They work as expected. Can be re-used. Very inexpensive. I print Avery 'Return Address' sized labels usin MS Word and stick them on - they fit perfectly. it's easier and faster than hand writing. Save the file for next planting.

My purpose was to label plants for sale! The previous reviews did indicate it was not as sturdy but have found that they are very flexible and will serve the purpose of writing plant names on 100's of plants. Based on another brand of labels, which I have purchased as well, these were cheaper. I have decided to give this label a try for some specific plants!

These tags are exactly the quality I hoped they’d be. One side is smooth and the other is dull. Depending on your ink pen or sharpie, for writing on them. Flexible, but not overly. If you have soil too heavy for these to go through, then your soil is much too heavy for use! They can be bent into a concave or convex shape to be forced into drier, firmer soil. Or perhaps they should be placed somewhat between the soil and the side of the pot. I find they are suitably stiff enough. The price is great for the quality. Don’t expect them to be of super thick plastic. You’d have to expect to pay a lot more! I’m very pleased. I do recommend these!

1000 small plastic plant stakes/markers. Good for identifying plants in nursery pots. If you like to put a lot of information on plant stakes you might want something larger. The short length doesn't leave much stake above the soil surface. I rely on colour of the stakes rather than info. on the stake to identify plantings. A typical gardener might see more practicality in smaller quantities of mixed colours rather than 1000 of 1 colour. These small stakes are practical for the extensive propagation I do via seed and cuttings. Good pointed end but the stakes are thin and are challenged by hard-pan soil. I just insert the stakes at the inside face of nursery pots(ie where the soil is in contact with the pot) rather than into the soil in the centre of the pot because they bend so easily. Recommended.

Worked great to label plants. They get fragile after being in direct sunlight but that is expected.

I'm a market grower/farmer and I go through hundreds of plant labels. I bought these when I ran out in the greenhouse. They arrived very quickly as all amazon orders usually do, which is why I choose to be a prime member! The labels work perfectly for what I need them for, They were a little smaller and more flimsy than what I'm used to, however after using them I think I much prefer them this way! They aren't too big or too bulky, which I sometimes have troubles with the bigger more bulky ones falling out when they get caught up and whatnot. I will be buying these from now on! Also A very great price for the amount too!! These should last me awhile.

I go through so many labels with my African Violet Collection. This was a great buy and I shouldn't need any more for a long while. They are a good quality plastic and insert into the soil mix easily.
