Used this for not it's intended purpose. Will share that to preface the comments. I built a custom lawnmower chute blocker and use this cable to raise an lower it. It appeared to be very solid when i got it, and it lasted about 20 lawn cuts being raised and lowered a dozen or so times each cut. Then just recently the cable end broke off from the yoke like connector.I know plan to shorten the one i have and see if i can make it work again. otherwise i'll be looking for a similar but heavier or better quality unit.

This is a really nice cable.I love it.This is a good heavy cable and it locks in place.to adjust the throttle, you have to push a button and then move the lever which is the way it should be.A lot of tractors have fairly strong springs on the throttle so when you use a handle that doesn't lock they don't stay put. This WILL stat put.I got this for my case backhoe but I may wind up using it on my ferguson to-30 because I use it more and I really like this throttle. My to-30 has the old factory throttle but the friction disc is shot so it never stays put and it's a big deal to fix. This is a quick easy fix for a big problem.This throttle is fairly universal and could be used on many different machines, you just have to make a couple holes in your machine to bolt it down and attach the cable somehow at the other end. It has 2 bolt holes so it will stay put good if you use 2 bolts to attach it.It did arrive with the center bolt loose but you just need to tighten it as needed before using it and it's fine.Highly recommended item
