Got this for my partner. He loved it. It was fun putting it together and not all that complicated. Overall good quality. Easy to move around when rearranging furniture.

Buyers beware this unit is too small for most audio gear. The pic shows a standard A/V receiver on top of the tiny center tower that is too small.I was looking forward to getting this and I rearranged my TV room to accommodate it when it arrived - but it will need to be redesigned before it will work as I originally intended for it to work. Please allow me to explain.......The unit is very well made with an all metal frame, it easy to assemble and the fit and finish look nice. The album and guitar accommodations on the sides are fine, but the center tower makes no sense at all.In the ad the pictures clearly show, and the unit design make it clear, this unit was intended for a turntable and other "audio" gear. The problem is, the vast majority of audio gear is built to a 19" template when it comes to width so that they will fit most stands out there - not true for this one which is about 13" and accommodates nothing of substance beyond portable devices that don't really need a stand in the first place! The smallest guitar amp I ever owned was a quite compact Fender Super Champ that would not fit in that 13" space provided! It stand is a good idea, suffering from poor execution. To correct this design flaw I will be replacing the center shelves with 21" plywood shelves so that the stand it will accommodate a Audio/Video amp, a CD player, Equalizer, and a Turntable on top. I really do not understand why the manufacturer opted to go with such a small and odd size shelf in the first place, but they did. Fortunately the unit is built sturdy enough to accommodate the modification.

Missing a piece essential to the completion of the build. Extremely disappointed. This was supposed to be a Christmas present.

Bought this over a few alternatives as the price was way more reasonable, but unfortunately you DO get what you pay for. The unit was missing one of the frame pieces (labeled as D in the manual) and instead had 2 of another piece (labeled as L). I was able to get everything assembled reasonably by substituting in the extra piece in but it unfortunately this means that I can only use 2 out of the 3 shelves. The unit is a lot smaller than it seems as a result, and feels more like a shelf in a store than a piece of decor. If the unit came with all the pieces, this would easily be a 5 star. It's easy to assemble and relatively durable- everything fits quite well too! I was surprised by how well the cloth hangers hold my vintyls. It even comes with extra screws and an extra rod in case anything breaks on the way. It also has all the tools you need to construct it (one Allen wrench)

The guitar stand and storage were definitely one of the biggest things I needed from this. Overall, the box it is shipped in has everything packed on top of each other and they all look alike so make sure you remember where each part is! The instructions are very basic descriptions and I ran into one or two bolt holes that weren't punched out all the way so I had to push them in with my fingers. This meant that I had to rebuild it about 4 times. Once I was past the building stage though, it has worked great! It holds a lot of my musical equipment and memorabilia while storing two of my guitars and more records than I can count. BE CAREFUL about loading too many vinyls though because the fabric that holds them can flip inside out. Even so, given the price and size, I would say it has worked out well. Do be careful with the guitar stands though because they are free-floating. In that case, I would recommend this only for heavier guitars, or else the floating bars can wiggle out on their own. I would recommend this to someone with a need for a storage solution OR for someone who wants to give a gift to a kid or teenager who is getting into music or guitar.

This is a preliminary review since it’s going to be a little while before I actually put this thing together, but there are some thoughts I can share just from opening the box. Without doing a complete inventory, it looks like all the parts are there, and there are a LOT of individual parts. I was surprised at the small size of the box in which the stand was delivered since I expected a much larger package. The metal frame pieces are all about a foot long. They are held together with pretty good sized hex bolts and there is a hex wrench included in the box.The hooked pieces where you place your guitar(s) seem to be made of pretty strong metal coated with vinyl. The vinyl should protect your instrument from any damage from rubbing on bare metal. The two openings/brackets aren’t the same. The deeper back opening is 4-3/4 inch wide at the bottom while the front opening with a shorter front lip is about 4-7/8 inch wide. My acoustic guitar fits fine in either rack but if you have a thick guitar, you may want to measure to be sure it will fit. Thinner electric guitars should fit without any problems. These racks slide from side to side on the frame so they should fit a guitar of any width.I was surprised to find that the album storage sections are flexible FABRIC. I expected them to be rigid but they are not. I don’t know if this will turn out to be an issue for me since I plan to store sheet music and music books in those spaces rather than albums. I'm not sure you would want to store vinyl records in a sling for an extended period of time. The albums might get warped.I didn’t examine them closely but the shelves appear to be strong and rigid. That will be important because I plan to put a small amplifier on one of them. From the manual, it does not appear that the shelves are adjustable. I believe there is one location for them.I will try to remember to update this review after assembling and using this item and clarify the areas of uncertainty mentioned above. At this time, I am very satisfied with this product and look forward to using it particularly since I broke one of my current guitar stands yesterday! It has spaces for all the things I use when practicing.
