I've been wearing Hanes white crew socks since I was a kid. These are different. They feel like they are compression socks, though I see no mention of that. It's not a critical factor, but by mid afternoon they are a bit uncomfortable. Not sure why Hanes would have changed them.

Needed socks to wear at night and these are perfect. They are not ultra thick, a bit thinner than other brands and the elastic does not cut into my leg like regular athletic socks. I keep buying this brand and style over and over just for wearing at night. If you want a heaver athletic sock you may not like these. For my use they are great.

Arrived quickly boxed and socks wrapped in plastic. Clean, no holes and sewing is done well. Purchased the extra large size the socks fit well wash up without shrinkage and the elastic is comfortable not too tight but tight enough that the top doesn't slide down with wear.Hopefully they will be durable/ long lasting.
