I can find nothing to dislike about this guitar stand. It is not wobbly at all. The shock absorption is nice if someone bumps into the stand. The construction and materials used are strong and not flimsy. Frankly, I use it very day and I love it. Lots of cheaper stand out there, but they don't seem to be this good..

This is not a cheap stand. I bought it because it is supposed to be built tough. The thing keeps falling apart. 3 times I was lucky enough to find all the small parts on the floor including a microscopic pin and a spring. The last time I was unable to find the tiny parts and now I can't reassemble it! As well when you try and carry or store the stand it constantly flips open. Very annoying. All that money down the drain. Is there a lifetime warranty? Will the company reimburse me? we'll see.

Absolutely best guitar stand I’ve ever owned. Built solid and love the neck holder as it prevents being knocked out of the stand. Very stable!

Very good and sturdy stand. I own different models from Hercules but it was my first gs405b. Everything locks in place easily. It does not tip at all and it keeps the guitar in place very well.The contact points are made of the same black foam as the other models and that so far, never degraded or marked the poly or nitro finishes of my guitars.The only thing is with the added safety of the wraparound part for the neck, you need to take your time to pass the neck around when picking up the guitar. A very little sacrifice to never see your precious instrument face plant!

I specifically ordered this for my Steinberger Spirit XT-25 5-string headless bass. None of my other stands would fit it, because of how small a footprint it has, so I'm THRILLED that this stand fits it perfectly - like it was made for it! I've been a fan of Hercules stands since a friend turned me onto 'em, and I received a double stand as a gift a while back. They are very solidly built, sturdy, and still look good after all the bangs and knocks that stands go through with gigs and rehearsals. Finding a Hercules to fit my Steinberger just makes my freakin' week!

I brought my first Hercules GS405B for my husand and liked it so well I bought another for myself. We use them when we travel as well as at home. I my opinion it is well worth the price.
