The ball is made of manganese steel and the rod is made of 1215 easy cutting steel, ensuring durability and longevity. The set includes four pieces with a range of 1/8" - 1/2" (3mm - 13mm), allowing for precise measurement of small bore holes. To use, simply rotate the rotary rod to expand the ball head until it reaches the diameter of the hole. Once removed, measure the expansion diameter of the ball head to determine the size of the hole. The adjustable ball head expansion structure is designed for easy and precise measurement. Only took a star because I appearently can't read. These are full ball, not half as pictured. Besides that they do what is intended

Not percice at all . Do t buy. I returned mine. Don't mic accurate. Junk. But a more expensive one. This do t measure accurately.
