Not quite what I was expecting as the handle is plastic, although it has provided me with the parts necessary to modify a better/ stronger brake lever.

The price was right, and from what I can tell it is the best one available on Amazon. Hooks up easy enough, and works great. My only issue is the materials used in manufacturing are sub-par. The rubberplastic type material for the lever itself is flexible, not really a quality I look for in a brake lever. Otherwise, it hasn't broken and I've put the grips to it a few times when I needed to stop quick. I also like that the 2 cables being used can be adjusted independently which makes fine tuning front and back to work together a very simple process. My only other suggestion would be to maybe make a set so both handles match on ones bike. One of these and a matching clutch handle for the other side. So, I would definitely give 5 stars if the lever were solid metal. I fear that the cold temperatures up here in Maine could cause the handle to break like many other plastics tend to do in the cold. If it makes it through the winter, and no other issues arise I would definitely change my review to 5 stars. It's a great product in general. I had my front brake lever awkwardly mounted beneath my clutch handle before I found this gem, and shudder to think I'd ever have to go back to that arrangement.

Sturdy, well designed brake lever for mountain bike or motorized bike use. Built of high quality materials with obvious thought given to comfortable functionality.Some minor filing might be needed to smooth rough mold ridges on lever.
