Electrically the switch works perfect. The installation required some Dremel Tool magic though. The wiring needed to be routed down the opposite side of the handle and slots needed cut to perform the wire rerouting. Ultimately, the new switch seems to be more robust than the failed factory switch.

Purchased to replace a switch that was intermittently failing to stop my saw blade upon releasing the handle (Hitachi C 10FCE2). Installation was a breeze; unplug the saw, unscrew six screws on the top of the handle, disconnect the connectors (take a picture first, there are tiny latches you'll need to pry to release them), and then reverse the process. One observation is that the inside chamber of the handle had quite a bit of wood dust caked in there. Not a great design on the saw, so that may be why these switches tend to get dirty and stuck. This part was a perfect fit and did it's job.
