I’ve been using this about 5 months now and the gold trim is rubbing off. It’s sturdy otherwise and hasn’t scuffed.

Looks great! The plastic cover fully encloses your existing key fob. Because it fully covers if I need to use the actual key in my fob, it’s going to be a bit challenging to get it out. The plastic on the outside does make it a little harder to push the buttons, but I normally use my fob for keyless entry so for me that functionality doesn’t matter so much. I didn’t use the half moon attachment, as I had difficulty getting it to unscrew fully, so I just attached normally. The back part of the cover is cut out so that your original Chevy logo on your fob shows through. Overall, it’s decent, it could be a bit better.

We got a new car which means new keys. Knowing how clumsy I am and with two Littles, this was the best decision! My husband refused to get one for his at first, but dropped his key and scratched the new fob. Now he wants one for himself😏I loved how flexible it was so it was easy to get the cover on our fob key (a bit stiff at first but I used the little tool it came with to hold it up while I squeezed in the corner of my fob then it was super easy). The keychain ring was also pretty sturdy and cute.The little gem ring for the start button was a cute touch. Definitely cheap material and not super shiny, but it still looks so cute.
