Replaced the Carb on a customer's snowblower with this due to the needle and seat failing, this is the same carb as OEM and I expected it to work perfectly. However after it was installed, the machine ran but now surges. I've already gone through everything, (fuel system, proper fuel flow) not sure if I got a defective unit or what, there are absolutely no adjustments on this carb so I guess I'm out of luck.

After attempting to clean the original carburetor which was sitting with old fuel in it for 3+ years (my bad), on my yardworks snowblower, fuel was leaking past the needle and seat causing the engine to surge. I ordered and installed this replacement carburetor. The engine purrs like a kitten. Be sure to get the correct part # off the old carburetor which is stamped per the included photo prior to ordering. Shipping was fast and arrived sooner than anticipated. Not too shabby for $30.

Huayi is MTD OEM carburetor for many if not all powermore engines. this particular one is also adjustable. Most your big-name small engine parts suppliers sell this exact carb for upwards of $90.00. comments regarding gaskets, yes they often come with the wrong size gaskets but for a $70 savings, I can handle that.

So the carburetor shows up with three gaskets as the image shows the gaskets are no good and do not fit this carburetor at all.This was 7-12 more expensive than the other carburetors available now I'm going to have to order gaskets to try to make this work and my repairs are delayed by another week. Make sure you order gaskets from some other supplier cuz these folks are tricking people to think gaskets are included that are no good for this application.
