Husky straight couplers are built to the highest industry standards, tested and certified to meet VESC Reg. V-5, SAE Erg. J-684F. For increased safety, each Husky straight coupler includes a safety pin as an additional means of securing the ball clamp in a locked position (safety pin is required to be used at all times) and a safety chain to eliminate loss of the safety pin. The quick release assembly allows for fast and safe locking and unlocking of the ball clamp for convenient hook-up and disconnect. Sleeve packaged.

I only needed the latch itself so I bought this and unbolted it to put on my trailer. It worked great. Quality was good and easy to adjust.

Calls for 1/2 inch in directions, they do not fit. Not a problem, I drilled out the 3/8 hole for a 7/16 #5 and called it good. I am assuming the directions we for the 2 inch ball otherwise the whole would have been bigger to start. other than that great price and does what I need it to. Would be a 5 star if not for the bolt confusion, good thing I looked before I bought some.

I bought two of these to use on my trailers for my garden tractor. only complaint is that they are a little difficult to latch down. One much harder than the other. I have not tried lubricating or smoothing out the corner/ramp yet.
