Its more of a 75-80% blackout in full sun and 100% blackout at night. Easy install, took less than 45 minutes, fantastic privacy for us. No issues, no regrets except not doing this sooner.

The 5x12ft Fence Privacy Screen, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in both quality and functionality. Living in a suburban area where homes are closely spaced, I was in desperate need of some respite from the prying eyes of neighbors. This heavy-duty privacy screen has become a fantastic addition to my outdoor space. In fact its the second one I have bought. The first one is 3 years old and just now starting to show some wear.Installation: The installation process was surprisingly straightforward. The screen comes with reinforced grommets that made it easy to secure to my existing fence. I was able to put it up in a matter of minutes, requiring no special tools or extensive effort. It fits snugly and has stayed in place even during windier days, which is a testament to its sturdy construction.The heavy-duty material is one of the standout features of this product. It feels robust and well-made, capable of withstanding the elements without showing signs of wear and tear. The UV protection is an added bonus, ensuring that it not only provides shade but also helps keep the colors vibrant over time. I’ve had other screens that faded or ripped after just a few months, but this one seems built to last.True to its name, this privacy screen does an excellent job of providing seclusion from the outside world. I purchased this to block the light from a cul de sac behind me. It doesn’t totally block it but it is filtered. It is not glaring into the house I purchased both the 25 and 50 foot. It also will add more privacy. If I really wanted to make it darker I would have to overlap.

We bough this for closing up our deck at our trailer site. Ordered it last week and didn’t open it until today when we were closing up our trailer. When we opened it we noticed a hole in the fabric. Unfortunately today was the last day to close up our trailer so we had no choice but to use it. Sadly it’s a lot of money, we’re hoping it doesn’t rip more and will last the winter season. It could be a really good product providing you don’t receive yours damaged like we did.

The website specifically states that the 8ft size is only for a 6ft fence which is what I have. Now of course I'm thinking that doesn't make any sense but not wanting to have to order this again, I go ahead and listen to the very specific instructions on the product description. I get my screen and low and behold it wasn't the correct size. They need to give an accurate description to match the actual dimensions of the product they are selling.

Alot less privacy than I hoped for.Mine came all stretched out and wrinkled, so it didn't install nice and square like I needed it to. But, I didn't have time to return it and what not, so I just put it up....I wish I returned it..lol
