PEX CLAMP
PEX clamp adheres to the ASTM F2098 standard specification. Simply cut the end of the pipe even and clean, slide the clamp ring over the pipe and insert the fitting. After properly positioning the clamp ring, use the clamp tool to compress the ring until the tool is released automatically. There’s no need to purchase separate heads for different pipe sizes, CRP1096 can work for 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8” and 1”.

Bought this to crimp some pex lines for a waterline for my new fridge and this thing works flawlessly did much better than one that was borrowed to me from a friend of the family 10 out of 10 would recommend this product to any DIY looking to do the same

This kit with both the crimper and cutter along with multiple elbows,straight pieces and crimping clamps is an excellent value for everything it comes with. I was extending some water pipes and this had everything I needed for my project. The crimpers work great as well as the pex cutting tool and made easy work of installing the pipe. The clamps crimped securely on the elbows and fittings with no leaks. Everything fits in the included case so I can keep everything together. I am 100% happy with this kit and would absolutely recommend it for any DIY projects. 5 stars all the way.

I started to learn working with PEX as a DIYer. This tool set is very easy to work with. The set is really affordable and I only need 1 set to work with different pipe sizes. I have just used it to re-run the piping for our tankless water heater.

Great Tool and KitFirst time working with PEX. I done all other kinds of plumbing; copper, PVC, ABS, Poly, even bronze, black pipe, and galvanized. PEX - Love it! The PEX pipe I needed to work with was inside our Travel Trailer. The builders kinked the main tank water supply because they didn’t want to rotate a fitting. I needed to fix that and I also wanted to put in an accumulator tank to reduce the 12v pump from cycling every time we would used the water. So I needed to cut into the PEX system.This iCRIMP Ratchet PEX Cinch Tool really is an All-In-One Tool Kit. It included the cinch tool, pipe cutter, two sizes of pipe clamps, and instructions. I simply followed the how-to printed on the card. I set the cinch to cut and removed the clamp. And then I used the pipe cutter to remove the kink. The instructions even told me to use a heat gun to get the pipe off the fitting. I put the clamp on the pipe, slid both onto the fitting, changed the cinch tool back to cinch, and tightened the clamp. First time, no problems, no leaks, great.I think the iCRIMP Ratchet PEX Cinch Tool is well built and easy to use. Now what else can I change to PEX?

Not sure where all the hate for this kit is coming from… Most likely from user error or inexperience most likely. I ended up at my in-laws house this past week only to find out that they were in the middle of renovations that included plumbing. My pecks crimper and plumbing tools were left at home so quickly ordered this from Amazon. I can categorically stayed good after 200+ half inch and three-quarter inch crimp clamps installed, only one failed and leaked on testing end it was user error.The reason I have only rated it as four stars, I really wish the handles were longer however I was able to get into some pretty tight in cramped spots but really do wish the handles were longer, the crimping feature is wonderful once the clamp releases you know it’s tight enough and the one time I was required to cut a brand new crimp clamp, it was really easy to change the configuration to the removal setting and back to normal clamping setting. The supplied crimp clamps appeared to be identical as the stainless steel much more expensive clamps that I ended up buying locally the cutter supplied in the kit is fantastic I simply tightened up the hinge screw a half turn and it cuts beautifully I must’ve made at least 500+ cuts at the end of the day this kit really does work well.If you have never used pex or any form of crimp clamps for plumbing I highly suggest you pick up a small section of pex tubing get used to cutting it and pick up some cheap fittings to get used to just how much pressure you need to apply etc. but really it isn’t that hard, just stay square to the pipe and fitting and make certain you are correctly positioned before you crimp…I am definitely going to be using this crimper and cutter alongside my much much more expensive crimp ring tools in the future and I really would recommend it if you have one or two crimps you need to complete or like my case where you’re replumbing your in-laws house on a weekend out of the blue..As for wanting the longer handles that was easily addressed with a couple sections of hard steel pipe and it was only necessary on half a dozen 1 inch diameter pecks pipes everything else was easy to do.

my old globe valves to shutoff the garden hose connections were corroded and leaking at the stem, so i bought this to replace the valves myself instead of paying a plumber $500 to do it. i got some polyb to pex adaptors, an elbow and a couple of 1/2" pex end ball valves and installed them with this tool.the tool worked great on both the pex connections and the polyb. i ran the water for a bit and all the connections appeared to be tight and leak free. i'm confident enough with the connections that i'm planning to redo the whole house someday to replace the polyb with pex. the cutter is easy to use and makes a clean cut too.my only gripe is that as i was standing up on a step stool sometimes trying to do up these cinches in awkward positions, i wish the handles were a couple inches longer for more leverage to reduce the effort it took to make the crimp; or i guess maybe i can just work out...anyway, it's a great tool and great value for money. i recommend this tool for any home owner.
