These pins are just OK in my opinion. They are not solid brass. The brass plating is very thin & will probably wear through pretty easily. The ad doesn't mention it, but they appear to have a 5 degree taper. They also vary in size quite a bit. Each pin hole in the bridge needs to be reamed individually & the pins need to go back in the same hole, to fit right. What I really don't like is, some of the pins show a rough ridge on the domed top. This is from the mold they were formed in. Looks cheap. Like the mold ridges on a cheap plastic toy.

I just bought these brass pins for my Epiphone acoustic J200 guitar. This was to replace my old plastic original pins. They look great, sound great and have kept tuned for quite a few days now. My old pins were 3mm longer in total length which doesn't seem to be a problem. I think it's the head size that is important. Make sure to measure your pins head size to make sure they are the same before ordering and you should be fine. I also like the little presentation tin and the pin remover and guitar picks that come with it. I'm happy.

The original pegs on my acoustic finally just gave out after years and years of use. I opted to try these brass pegs. They are sturdy and work well. They do brighten the tone up a little, but that was expected. Worked as expected & look pretty cool too.

No major complaints. The pegs felt of nice quality and fit my acoustic well. I wouldn’t say pegs changed the tone of my guitar as some have noted. However, I would still recommend them to someone who needs to replace their stock plastic pegs.

Shipped quick, great tool, the pins are well made and fit well. They look good. Installed on cheap nova guitar on which i have now replaced all plastic bits with bone and now brass, starting to sound good.

These are a great deal for the novice guitarist. I'm new to playing and of course broke the plastic pins on my Yamaha. I grabbed some plastics replacements and they were a little too small. Ordered these and they fit just right and sound okay as far as I can tell. They will last forever and came with a nice little case and removal tool.

I was a bit reluctant at first, I decided to order just because.I have to tell you this...this is the best investment I have made purchasing accessories of a guitar.I installed the pins on my CF Martin custom shop guitar, Wow!!! is all I have to say. The guitar sounded great the way it was but after installing the bronze pins it’s sounds so much brighter and clearer. Also when I replaced the pins I used the existing 4-5 month old strings, once the pins were installed and the guitar tuned, it sounded like I just put on new strings on.What a great product for the money spent. Cudos to the seller.
