So far after so good, adhesive seems strong, there isn’t really any lint I’ve noticed so far. I noticed when in night vision camera my phone flashes at my (IPhone even with no facial recognition) this actually blocks whatever that is. The sliding portion doesn’t “click “ into place but it does stay very well and moves easy when you want it to. Will update this if things change.

This webcam cover is not as advertised. There are critical sensors next to the camera that this cover can partially or fully block, interfering with auto-brightness, True Tone, and other functions.Additionally, Apple explicitly advises against using physical webcam covers due to the risk of damaging the screen when closing the lid. The product description is misleading, and I would not recommend it.On top of that, this seller is using deceptive listing tricks—filling the description with irrelevant specs like “1080p,” “USB,” and “MP4” that have nothing to do with this product. These tactics push their listing to the top of search results, making it harder for buyers to find legitimate options.If they can’t provide accurate details, why should I trust them? Even though this only cost $8.99, I’m sending it back on principle. Amazon needs to do a better job of screening sellers who misrepresent their products.

There’s adhesive tape you have to put on the webcam before applying the webcam cover. The picture quality noticeably lessens once the adhesive tape is on. It makes the picture blurry. Yes I cleaned my camera and screen prior to applying the adhesive backing. Now my camera can only take garbage pictures making this product unusable. Do not waste your money buying these.

This is about half the size that I expected. The hole is just barely large enough to expose the camera, so you have to be careful to make sure the camera is entered in the hole when you mount it.I used this on my iMac camera. I chose to mount it vertically to avoid covering the light sensor and LED indicator lights beside the camera.The slider stays put and it's made of metal, so I don't expect it to fall apart.

The cover sliders are thin and sit firmly. I can barely notice them. I use it for my Asus laptop and my Samsung tablet. Recommend.

I bought this so the camera on my laptop would be covered when not in use. Many of my coworkers taped over theirs, but that is a pain if you need to video conference. This cover is great. It covers the camera when not in use, and then slides out of the way when you need the camera. I have not had any problem with it, it has stayed put where I originally stuck it (I didn't use it for the first day or so, just in case it needed some time to adhere properly).It would probably fit on my phone's smaller, screen-side camera (other than my screen protector being in the way) but it will not fit my phone's larger camera. But, I bought it for my laptop and it works great for that.
