These are NOT bolt cutters- But with that said, I have used them to cut steel wire that was 1/8 inch thick, and cut the heads off framing nails. I would NOT use them to cut pad locks. They are more robust and stronger than large electrician dikes- good for chain link and barbed wire property fencing. Take up less room in my tool box than a heavy pair of bolt cutters.

No idea how to open the bolt cutters to use them. They came with no instructions, and google searches all showed a very different style of bolt cutter. The mfr website had no information.

Coupe bien les petits boulons ou petites vis d'au plus 1/4 po., mais tout ce qui est au dessus cela ne fonctionne pas bien. Je n'ai jamais réussi à couper un boulon de 3/8 po.

Couldn't cut the padlock I was trying to as the jaws are very small. It says in the describtion "up to 2.5mm" but I hand't noticed it.
