Attention: There are a few Canon 18-55mm lenses, this lens hood replaces the Canon EW-63C lens hood and is only for the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM or the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM which is sold as a kit lens on the Canon EOS Rebel T8i T7i T6i T5i SL3 SL2 SL1 EOS 90D 80D 70D 77D DSLR camera.
It does NOT work with the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II, which is sold as a kit lens on the Canon EOS Rebel T7 T6 T5 T4i T3i T2i DSLR camera.

It doesn't fit on either the Stabilizer or non Stabilizer version of the Canon 18-55mm lens, However it does fit on my 55-250mm is STM

Quality product! Fits my new Canon Rebel T7 perfectly! Please make sure you have the newest version T7 as of 2024 with the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II and NOT the IS STM or any other cannon lens for that matter. Gives the whole camera that professional look. Thanks JJC!

Fits great on my Canon Rebel T3i EFS 18-55mm lens. Firmly locks in place in proper orientation. I wish I had bought this one years ago.

I have been looking for a short lens hood for a while, all the ones I have purchased in the past caused a lot of corner vignetting because of their length. I purchased it for my Canon EF 28-80mm lens. This one is the perfect length for all lens settings from 28mm to 80mm. It also works on my Canon EFS 18-55mm lens. In order to use this hood, be sure to check which model lens you have, it will work with Canon Zoo Lens EF 28-80mm 1:35.5-5.6 IV (see photo) and Canon Zoom Lens EF-S 18-55mm 1:35.5.5-5.6 IS II (not shown), do not use with Canon Zoom Lens EF-S 18-55mm 1:35.5.5-.5.6 IS STM. You can use with or without a lens filter, if using a filter there is no need to remove it, you can also use the 58mm lens cap that comes with the lens without remove the hood. The hood is reversible. I do recommend.

I really like these bayonet lens hoods. The only downside is they do feel a little on the fragile side when putting them on and taking them off, but in the long run, they are way cheaper than authentic hoods, so I don't mind.

Bought this for my Canon EOS Rebel SL3. It has a sloppy fit. Very loose, and once you do get it on properly by turning and squeezing it causes vignetting in the corners of the picture. Not pleased with this purchase. Will be returning.
