I do not have a red car, but I regularly repaint steel targets that have red highlights so I was looking forward to having this paint in a handy applicator. The paint comes in a tube that is basically an oversized nail polish-type bottle. It is handy, but you can see in my second picture that the applicator brush is not very good. It is ok for dabbing, but not for making clean lines and sharp edges.I put this paint onto two different targets - the first (the squirrel's ear) on bare metal, the second (the rat's ears) overtop existing paint that was worn away. (Both these targets are due for a complete strip and refinish, but this was just a test). This paint smells like regular car paint - it gives off some serious fumes and smells like you are in the autobody shop.I tested the hardness of the paint after 1 day and it was still soft and my thumbnail left an indentation. I forgot about it and came back a week later and the paint on the bare metal (squirrel) was rock hard, the rat still made indents but I think this is because of the multiple layers of soft paint underneath.I am looking forward to using this paint to add some flashy highlights to my targets. The brush is not the greatest, but the paint seems good.

Bought this to touch up a few scraps on my new Honda snowblower, matched perfectly. You can see the brush strokes but I would say the color is a 100% match.
