This fit perfectly for my 2004 Toyota Highlander v6 3.3 fob. When I transferred the guts of the old fob to the new shell, it seemed to rock back and forth a bit. After completing the assembly of both sides the fob was secured into place. I’m happy to not have to pay $100 for an OEM shell.

Works. fit is exact. Would like to see a more durable connection to the key chain.

The original components for a 2004 toyota Tacoma do not fit in the case. If you have a hard plastic case around the battery, it wont go into this product.

This suggestion came with an order for a replacement rear wiper.Brilliant.If you're needing to replace a rear wiper on a Toyota (200K km plus) likely your fob is shot as well. Ordered it, works beautifully.

The replacement remote key fob shell works perfectly for my 2006 Toyota Highlander. I simply pried open the ""old" key fob were the top black plastic key ring was worn out and broken and using a tiny slot screw driver i gently lifted the small circuit board up and out of the "old" key fob. Then I gently placed the circuit board in the same position in the replacement key fob and gently but firmly snapped the two halves of the new fob together. I then attached the new key fob to a key ring with my other keys. The 'Lock" "Unlock" and "Panic" buttons work perfectly in the new fob. I guess this is about $300 cheaper than buying a whole new fob from Toyota complete with programming costs.

I have a 05 tundra and the loop on my fob broke. This replacement shell fit the old internal hardware perfectly and I can now hang the fob from my key chain again! Thank you!

Recomendado 100%

I was simply amazed that you could order this on Amazon! I was a parts store the other day to get another rubber sleeve to put my remote in (the remote still works but the hole where it attaches to the keychain had worn completely in two) when I noticed they had these "Just the Case Keyless Entry Keyless Option". I decided to come home and check to see if Amazon carried them and they did. The installation was so easy! It is very important that you read the instructions from start to finish before you start! We know how guys don't like to read directions but this crucial to the proper installation. First, wash the countertop where you will be working so you have a clean environment. This is important! Next, wash your hands with soap and water. Then open the new empty shell case, being careful to pay attention on how you lay it open. Then you take a quarter and slowly open your existing remote being careful when you open it not to touch anything on the inside with your fingertips. The inside of the remote contains a memory board that is very sensitive and a battery that is similar to a watch battery. Next, gently press the underside until you feel the insides start to come out and once they start to come out and you can (this is very important) grab a hold of the memory board by the sides and DO NOT TOUCH THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF THE BOARD you will now place the board in the new empty case in the exact same position as it was in the old case. Then snap the lid on and go out to your vehicle and test it! Mine worked fine the first time. If it doesn't work, go through the steps again. If that doesn't work then perhaps you need to replace the battery. They also sell a rubber sleeve to go over this case. I just wish I knew about this a year ago, been carrying around my remote for a year because the keyhole wore in two!
