This device took a long time to turn on and when it did, we'll it did not feel as powerful. I had to physically push the fur into the blade with my finger. Eventually ended up giving up and used Scissors instead.

KIKETECH Cordless Dog Trimmer,Professional Paw Clippers Grooming KitThe trimmer is very handy to have for small areas on your dog or your cat and not just the paws. I have used mine to trim around their ears as well and I groomed my neighbors dog that gets a lot of hair around it's eyes from the type of breed he is and he helped trim that right up too. The noise is not totally silent but it's not too bad but my youngest dog didn't like it at all and ran from me when I turned it on. It comes with everything you need to operate and maintain the trimmer which is great and a sleek look to it as well. Easy to hold, easy to clean up afterwards. This is a must have for any pet owner.

I also have this in a different color. They are both identical other than that.These are still great to use and so convenient. The hybrid heads cut really well, at least for our dogs fur which is full and fine, though I did test these on my beard (before using on the dog of course), so it seems they may work fine on coarse fur as well.Remember these are for paws, the cutting area is very small so it would take an inconceivable amount of time if you tried to use this on the whole dog. And same as the other one I have, depending on how much fur you are working on (or the dogs willingness to cooperate), even if you're only doing the paws, it's possible you may not get through everything on a single charge. But this is due to it's size, and I do think it's nice that it's so small and light that almost anyone could use it.The LED light is very convenient as well. Let's not forget that.Overall very happy with both this one and the other color one that I have. They've been great for paws as well as minor touch ups elsewhere without having to get out the larger clippers. Will update if there are any issues with these in the future.

The product is easy to use and charge, and comes with blade oil, a cleaning brush, and a stud guard.The stud guard makes it practically unusable, it wouldn't cut any dog hair until I took that part off.The size is good, makes for easy paw trimming and allows you to get between their toes and pad.But even on the highest setting with the guard off, I had to keep going over the same areas over and over to cut them down. I imagine the low setting with the guard on would do absolutely nothing.I have a husky, so he has thick, dense hair. Maybe this would work better for a different type of dog. For me, it's somewhat usable with the guard off at the high setting, but it could be stronger and more effective.

I really don't know why, but none of my dogs like the sound of hair clippers or nail trimmers. It doesn't seem to matter if it's a "low noise" model like this one, which to me isn't loud at all. Yet as soon as I turned it on, I had 3 fur kids running away and I wasn't even near them! Only my best-behaved pup (a golden retriever mix) was willing to let me use it on him (although he clearly wasn't happy about it). So I at least got to test the clippers, and I was able to see that they do work. But there's no way I can use these on my one dog that has a couple of mats behind his ears - because he's a huge Great Pyrenees. And because he ran away from me even after I turned off the clippers. He just did NOT want me near him as long as i was holding the clippers. I'll try to get him used to just the clippers while they're turned off and see if I can eventually work up to using them on him. I'd suggest to other customers to ease into it with your fur kids. I just didn't realize my dogs would react so negatively to the low sound these clippers make!
