This threader is light and very flexible, but that also makes it a bit fragile and while it works fine, I will need to be careful not to kink or break it.

The fly fishing bobbin threader is a game-changer for my fly tying setup. It’s well-built, lightweight, and makes threading my bobbin a breeze—especially when working with finer threads. The handle is comfortable to grip, and the wire loop is sturdy enough to last through many uses without bending out of shape.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wire could be just a bit longer for easier handling with larger bobbins. Other than that, it’s a solid, reliable tool that I would definitely recommend to any fly tyer!

I recently tried the Kingfisher Bobbin Threader, and it's been a huge help! It makes threading my bobbins much faster and simpler, saving me a lot of time. The design is straightforward, and it works well with most bobbins I use. It’s compact, lightweight, and easy to store, so I can keep it handy when needed. If you sew regularly, I’d definitely recommend this too

This is essentially a standard threader that works like any other typical threader. What I particularly like about this one is the finish. So many of my other tools are brass that I like colorful handle (which feels quite durable and well made) so that I can pick the tool out quickly from others.

Kingfisher offers a great product at a reasonable price point because I have purchased several other products from them. I’m new to fly tying though so I purchased all four of the Kingfisher fly tying accessories to get me started. The: hackle pliers, bobbin threader, bodkin and the whip finishing tool. They appear to be made as well as any other brand name that I have played with at the fly-fishing shop. I bought the red ones so they would be easy to find on my messy desk. Lol. Overall, I am very pleased with the value for the cost of the items.

As with all of my other kingfisher fly tying tools this is a well made threader. It looks good and matches all the other blue colored tools from kingfisher.
